Under the Sea is a whimsical underwater scene inspired by scuba-diving memories with my brother. A spiraling composition and playful fish orientation capture the strange freedom of being underwater, where up and down can briefly lose their meaning.
This one-of-a-kind original painting connects family memory, movement and the ocean through a playful, dreamlike point of view.
