La suerte entre nosotros turns a neighborhood panadería into a bright little archive of Puerto Rican everyday life: pastries behind glass, lottery slips at the counter, a Puerto Rican flag, a regular at the register and a coffee waiting in the foreground.
Built from expressive navy linework and flashes of yellow, green, pink and violet, the piece looks at the panadería as more than a place to buy breakfast. It is a place where routine, chance, conversation and memory overlap.
