Guard My Nails grew from a tea-club inside joke and a fascination with ornate Chinese nail guards associated with imperial court fashion: elegant, impractical, scandalous-looking little status objects.
In Lyn’s version, the nails are guarded, the fingers are bloody, and the gongfu tea still has to be served. Priorities.
Part tea memory, part historical rabbit hole, part dark visual gag. Printed on museum-quality matte paper.
